And then there were five...

So, I've been MIA from the blogging world for the last couple of months, adjusting to being a mommy to three! Is anyone still reading out there?

Sweet little Joshua Edward was born on July 17th at 5:35 pm. He weighed 9 lbs, and was 20 inches long. I literally spent that entire night awake, becuase I just couldn't stop looking at him.

It's been a fairly easy adjustment, with the exception of a couple of sleepless weeks early on. In so many ways, we feel like Joshua has been a part of our family forever. Samantha and Jackson adore their baby brother, and are very protective of him. Joshua already loves his big brother and sister, too. He smiles and coos everytime they talk to him, and when he is fussy Sam is the best at calming him down!

He is sleeping well, and on a good schedule. During the day he is pretty much awake for an hour or so, then sleeps for an hour. This makes it a little difficult to be out and about right now, so I am looking forward to him spreading out that awake time a little! At night he is sleeping from 9:00-4:30, then again until 8:00am - most nights. Definitely not a bad sleeping schedule for a 2-month old! It took me a little longer to get him on a schedule than the older kids, I think it had just been so long that I forgot how at first!

We are amazed at the ways God has blessed us with such a happy little family!
